In 2011, a group of community advocates in Northwest Ohio recognized the need for a children’s grief support program to help families in the area cope with death. An assessment conducted with the University of Toledo showed that many children who had experienced significant loss were not receiving adequate support.
In response, Good Grief of Northwest Ohio, Inc. was founded in 2012, following consultation with experts and research into the long-term effects of unaddressed grief in children. A successful pilot program was later held in 2013.
Good Grief of Northwest Ohio, Inc. is an organization that helps grieving children, teens, young adults, and their families cope with the death of someone significant in their lives. Their Toledo, Ohio program space provides a safe and supportive environment for kids to express their thoughts, fears, and emotions about their loss. In their peer support sessions, young people can share their experiences with grief and receive support from others going through similar experiences.
Good Grief continues to be the only non-profit organization in Northwest Ohio that focuses on supporting grieving children. They are funded entirely by charitable donations and provide all services free of charge.
For the month of January 2023, a portion of the proceeds from every sale of the limited-edition t-shirt was donated to Good Grief to help them continue providing a supportive environment for children to cope with loss. It is important to note that orders with more than one item are given a processing time according to the specific item.
Before shipping, we will inspect the ordered items thoroughly. Most orders are delivered within 48 hours. It is expected that delivery will take between three and seven days.
Returns
Due to multiple parties, including the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to effectively manage inventory. The levels of stock can change at any given time. It is possible that you will not receive your purchase after it has been placed.
Our policy lasts for 30 days. If you have passed 30 days in the past since you purchased, unfortunately we can't offer an exchange or refund.
You can only return an item in the event that it is not used and in the same state as the day you received it. It should also be returned in the original packaging.
